Our challenge for November may seem a little predictable, but don’t let that stop you from going all out with it! Paul calls us in Philippians 4:6 to be “careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” This month, we’re going to focus on giving thanks to God for the things He’s done in our lives and the incredible blessings He’s given us!
This month’s challenge is in two parts because we want to focus on both giving gratitude to God and to others, both of which are important mindsets to cultivate:
- Over the course of this month, make a list of one hundred things that you’re thankful for (You can download a printable list to fill out here).
- Write a thank you note to someone who has been a blessing to you.
Remember, listing off every element on the periodic table or every ingredient in your favorite dessert may get you towards one hundred quickly, but it isn’t in the spirit of the challenge! Instead, think through the blessings in your life and take time to truly thank God for each item. Let’s work together towards showing gratitude this month!
